Fundraising for Cure Leukaemia and the Steve Bull Foundation has been boosted by the support of several event sponsors for the forthcoming ‘One Knight Only’ charity ball with Beverley Knight.

The Queen of UK soul is performing at Birmingham’s ICC on the evening of Saturday, October 6th, with the Black-Tie event, hosted by Heart FM’s Ed James, also including a four-course dinner.

Proceeds from the ball will be shared between Cure Leukaemia and the Steve Bull Foundation.

Rudell the Jewellers, who have branches in Wolverhampton and Harborne, and digital advertising specialists Elonex Outdoor Media have come on board as event sponsors for the night.

“We are thrilled that Rudells and Elonex have agreed to be our event sponsors for the One Knight Only charity ball,” said Jackie Kelly, Head of Corporate Partnerships with Cure Leukaemia.

“This generous sponsorship means that more of the funds raised from the event can go directly to the two charities involved, helping to make even more of a positive impact on the people that we support.

“We are delighted to be linking up with the Steve Bull Foundation for what is going to be a fantastic event with Beverley, who remains one of the most popular and talented singers and actresses in the UK.”

Sioux Jones, Director at Rudell The Jewellers, said:

“We have supported Cure Leukaemia for many years, and are really excited by the collaboration of Cure Leukaemia and The Steve Bull Foundation.

“The evening is a fabulous opportunity to hasten the progress in eradicating this disease in our lifetime, whilst raising awareness of other local charities with the help of Steve through The Steve Bull Foundation.”

Adam Stockton, Managing Director with Elonex, added:

We’re proud to be supporting ‘One Knight Only’ with Beverley Knight and, in turn, two fantastic charities in Cure Leukaemia and the Steve Bull Foundation.

“Cure Leukaemia is actually our official charity partner, so it’s great to be involved in yet another exciting fundraising initiative for them whilst at the same time helping the many good causes that benefit from monies raised by the Steve Bull Foundation.

“Elonex operates an extensive network of outdoor digital advertising screens across the Midlands, and we hope our promoting of Cure Leukaemia events, has helped to bring the local community together in supporting this great local charity.

“We believe that this event will be a knight to remember!”

Cure Leukaemia and the Steve Bull Foundation are also appreciative of The Fox at Shipley sponsoring the event brochure, and other sponsorship opportunities remain available.
