ATICUS Network Roadshow Leeds | Wednesday 14th May 2025

Every day, four children in the UK are diagnosed with blood cancer. The ATICUS Network will provide hope and is set to change the future of treatment for children with blood cancer — and we’d love for you to be part of it.

The ATICUS Network was launched in 2024 alongside Cure Leukaemia Patron Gary Lineker, whose son George was diagnosed with blood cancer as a child. Find out more about the ATICUS Network here.

We invite you to a special event in Leeds to learn about the groundbreaking ATICUS Network and how it will bring hope to children with blood cancer across Leeds, Yorkshire and the whole of the UK.

Join us on Wednesday 14th May as Dr. Beki James from Leeds Children’s Hospital shares how this pioneering Paediatric Transplant Trials Network will unite eleven children’s hospitals—including Leeds Children’s Hospital —to deliver life-changing clinical trials.

You’ll also hear powerful stories from families who’s children have received a blood cancer diagnosis on why the ATICUS network is vital and will provide hope to them and the thousands of families across the UK affected by blood cancer.

⭐ Dr Beki James Consultant Paediatric Haematologist at Leeds Children’s Hospital speaks on why the launch of the ATICUS Network is vital for children diagnosed with blood cancer.

⭐ Natalie Sadler, who sadly lost her daughter Arabella aged 7 to Acute Myeloid Leukaemia following complications from a stem cell transplant on the 22 February 2025.

⭐ Jo Hawkridge, whose son Jude had to spend months in isolation while receiving treatment for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) in 2020, having ran out of options for treatment via the NHS.
