Cure Leukaemia are delighted to announce that their logo will adorn the home and away shirts of Solihull Moors Football Club for their upcoming 2023/24 season in the National League.
The partnership has been made possible by local business V Installations, who have generously funded the opportunity to the charity, which will see the Cure Leukaemia logo feature on the backs of all jerseys as the club looks to secure English Football League status for the first time.
Based in Solihull, V Installations are experts in providing solutions for mechanical handling projects, from specialised, purpose-built unit applications, to re-organisation and/or refurbishment of customers’ existing systems.
The move solidifies the partnership between Cure Leukaemia and the Football Club, which began in January 2023, and sees the charity based at the football club during the week in their Werqwise Offices and Lounge.
Furthermore, over the course of the next 12 months, Cure Leukaemia and Moors will host a number of fundraising events to raise vital funds which allow the charity to offer potential life-saving treatment to patients across the UK.
Cure Leukaemia Chief Executive James McLaughlin said “We would like to extend our thanks to Gary and his team for offering Cure Leukaemia the opportunity to have our logo on the Moors’ jerseys for the upcoming season alongside their company brand.”
“The national exposure for the Charity will further advance our Football vs Blood Cancer initiative while our move into the Armco Arena will see the charity work even closer with the club and we are excited to see the partnership progress over the course of the season.”
Speaking on the partnership, Gary Fox, Managing Director of ‘V’ Installations Mechanical Handling Ltd, said: “We are honoured to be in a position to engage and support a partnership with Solihull Moors & provide a joint Shirt Sponsorship opportunity for locally based charity ‘Cure Leukaemia.
“The charity is one that is personally very close to me. And hopefully, this exposure will help others recognise all the hard work & great things Cure Leukaemia continue to do in the fight against Leukaemia. Above all, I hope it encourages people to support such a fantastic cause.”
Moors Head of Commercial, Bradley Rice said: “Firstly I would like to say a massive thank you to Gary who has made all of this happen and shown since our very first meeting, that Community and helping people lies at the heart of everything that he does.
“His approach is wholly in line with the ethos of the Club and our message of what happens off the pitch is as important as what takes place on it.
“It is incredible that due to Gary’s generosity, we can promote such an incredible charity, and we look forward to working in partnership with both Cure Leukaemia and V Installations moving forward. “
