In this role, Bhupinder will focus on engaging businesses across the country through the charity’s innovative Club 10 initiative, aimed at supporting the funding of the ATICUS network—a world first paediatric transplant trials network.
The ATICUS Network (Accelerating Trials in Children Undergoing Stem Cell Transplant), a pioneering collaboration between 11 leading UK Children’s Hospitals to revolutionise clinical trial access for children battling blood cancer is poised to revolutionise the treatment landscape for children and their families affected by blood cancer. It will expand access to pioneering clinical trials, offering hope and the potential for life-saving treatments. Bhupinder’s efforts will be instrumental in securing the funding required to bring this ambitious initiative to life.
Speaking about his new role, Bhupinder expressed his enthusiasm:
“I am thrilled to be joining Cure Leukaemia and contributing to the vital work of supporting children and families affected by blood cancer. The ATICUS network represents an incredible opportunity to transform outcomes for young patients, and I look forward to working closely with organisations nationwide to secure the funding needed to make this vision a reality. The generosity and commitment of businesses through Club 10 will have a profound impact on the future of blood cancer treatment.”
Since it’s launch during Blood Cancer Awareness month in September, Club 10 has seen unwavering support from businesses from across the UK, aligning their focus on innovation and world leading aspirations to those of the ATICUS network, which will have a global impact through it’s clinical transplant trials across 11 hospitals in the UK:
