Cure Leukaemia Launches Club 10 to Support Groundbreaking Paediatric Transplant Trials Network

Cure Leukaemia is proud to announce the launch of Club 10, an exciting new initiative that will help fund the Paediatric Transplant Trials Network. This pioneering network will support life-saving clinical trials across ten children’s hospitals nationwide. With an annual cost of £1 million to sustain this vital work, Club 10 invites businesses to pledge £10,000 per year, joining forces with Cure Leukaemia to give hope to children battling leukaemia.

10 cities x 10 businesses £10,000 = £1million

The Paediatric Transplant Trials Network, which will initially span ten leading children’s hospitals across the UK, is a critical step forward in the fight against childhood leukaemia. The hospitals selected to take part will be officially announced at a special launch event in Manchester on 25th September.

Club 10 launches with the support of seven founding members: Climate FM, CSW Cladding, Media Travels, Salesforce, Cassidy Group, Endurance Zone and Westbridge Foods. Their generous commitment marks the beginning of a transformative initiative, and Cure Leukaemia is calling on other businesses to join the cause.

“We will be forever grateful to the incredible staff at the Southampton Children’s Ward that treated our son Keanu. My wife Hannah and I feel that it is the right thing to give back and get involved with Cure Leukaemia and pledging £10,000 a year for five years to help with funding for the Paediatric Network.”

James Black, Director of CSW Cladding.

“As someone who has faced blood cancer, I know firsthand the vital importance of research and clinical trials in saving lives. Supporting Cure Leukaemia, particularly through the Paediatric Trials Network, is not just a corporate responsibility for Cassidy Group—it’s a personal mission for me. We are honoured to contribute to a cause that gives children battling leukaemia a fighting chance.”

Pat Cassidy, Director of Cassidy Group, Patron of Cure Leukaemia and a former blood cancer patient.
