Brindleyplace Dragonboat Race 2017

Think you've got what it takes to be the best team in Brum? Battle it out at the Brindleyplace Dragonboat Festival this Summer!

Cure Leukaemia is thrilled to be supported through the Dragonboat race for a third successive year! The annual Dragonboat Race, sponsored by Deutsche Bank, will raise funds for Cure Leukaemia in a bid to raise a record £100,000.

In a bid to help raise this £100,000 figure, businesses across the city are invited to battle it out at the annual Dragonboat Race, whilst raising valuable funds for Cure Leukaemia in the process.

In teams of 11, over 200 of the city’s professionals are invited to take to the water in 20ft traditional Chinese longboats to demonstrate their paddling-power; swapping suits for fancy dress as they compete in a series of challenging heats to be crowned the 2017 winner - an accolade currently held by 'Vodafone Vikings'!

Further details will be announced in the coming weeks but to register your interest, please email jackie@cureleukaemia.co.uk
