The Binding Site set themselves a challenge!

21st May 2014

Since becoming our charity partner back in November 2013, staff from the Birmingham based Specialist Protein Company have held a host of fundraising activities to raise money for Cure Leukaemia, with their latest the biggest yet...

122 employees from the Birmingham based office of The Binding Site are taking part in a whole range of challenges throughout the year to raise as much money as possible but also to have a LOT of fun! Amongst these challenges include the Great Midlands Fun Run on June 1st, The Birmingham Color Run on August 16th, a 3 Peaks Challenge and of course the BUPA Great Birmingham Run - our biggest fundraiser of the year - on October 19th.

This epic event of challenges has been organised by the employees themselves and will take place between June to October - with employees determined to raise a substantial amount of money!  Whilst some employees are taking part in just 1 event, many are taking part in numerous events, with some taking part in them all!

Head of Human Resources at The Binding Site Emma Ramsey said,

"We’re very proud of our Partnership with Cure Leukaemia and are hoping to raise a fantastic figure for the charity with all the events our workforce are taking part in.

It’s engaging lots of our staff who are all prepared for aching limbs and blisters in the coming months but most of all we’re looking forward to supporting a wonderful Birmingham charity.”
