Former Aston Villa star Lee Hendrie has chosen to support Cure Leukaemia for his Annual FootieBugs Charity Golf Day which takes place at the prestigious Edgbaston Golf Club in Birmingham, on Wednesday 16th April 2014.
It's set to be a fantastic day amongst the incredible surroundings of Edgbaston Golf Club where those taking part will be treated to a full days worth of activities starting with 'Breakfast Butties' before tee off begins at 1.30pm.
Following the round of golf, all golfers will then make their way to the Edgbaston Club house for a delicious evening meal, followed by the highly enjoyable awards celebration where, as Lee says, “you’ll find out who plays when they should be working and who works when they should be playing!”
Throughout the day there will be plenty of opportunities to meet up with some very special guests of the day, including current and past internationals. Among those expected to attend are footballers including Lee Hendrie together with Peter Crouch, Gareth Barry, Craig Gardner, James Morrison, Mark Draper, Michael Johnson and Darius Vassell.
It is certainly a Golf Day not be missed and to find out how you can book onto the event, whether it be your own team of 4 or perhaps a team of 3 plus a celebrity, then please visit the FootieBugs website HERE.
James McLaughlin, Chief Executive of Cure Leukaemia said,
"We're thrilled Lee has chosen to support us for his Golf Day. He has already shown fantastic support for us in his ambassadorial role for the Club Legends Cup in July and to be associated with this prestigious event as well is fantastic for the charity.
I know it will be a tremendous event for everyone involved and hope it can raise significant funds for Cure Leukaemia and help save lives across the West Midlands."
For those who are interested in getting involved with sponsorship of the event, there are a number of different levels available, visit the website HERE or contact one of the team below who will happily give you more detail about the opportunities available.
Everyone at Cure Leukaemia would like to thank Lee Hendrie and FootieBugs for choosing us as their chosen charity.
