Fancy playing for Birmingham City against Aston Villa?

9th October 2013

Calling all Blues fans – your former favourites need you for a friendly derby against Aston Villa!

There will be a Second City charity match in aid of Cure Leukaemia at Boldmere at 1pm on Sunday, featuring ex-Villa players against their Blues counterpart.

Villa have filled their team with paying supporters but eight players are still needed for the Blues side for a donation of £60 each.

Among the ex-Villa stars are Mark Walters, Darius Vassell, Lee Hendrie and Pat Heard, while Peter Withe will make a brief guest appearance.

The former Blues players include Geoff Horsfield, Michael Johnson and Paul Devlin.

The match takes place at the Trevor Brown Memorial Ground, Church Road, Boldmere, Sutton Coldfield. Contact Stephen Withe at sawithe9@icloud.com for more details.

For a day of great entertainment, get down to the 'Fans and Legends Cup' from 1pm with Kick off at 3pm. There will be food, drinks and a raffle throughout the day...admission for spectators is £4 adults and £1 children on the gate. Come and join the fun!
