Cure Leukaemia are delighted to have agreed a corporate partnership with top Birmingham restaurant Fazenda, which is planning a series of fundraising events to support the charity.
National chain Fazenda has been bringing their unique South American restaurant experience to Birmingham since opening on Colmore Row in the heart of the City’s business district last November.
Fazenda has now selected Cure Leukaemia as their local charity to support, starting with a tasty Pancake Day initiative when they donated proceeds from the sales of all Dulce de Leche pancakes purchased on the day.
Eleni Constantinou, Relationships & Events Manager at Fazenda Birmingham, said:
“We are really proud to be able to support Cure Leukaemia, and the fundraiser on Pancake Day was the first of several we are planning to carry out for the charity.
“We are very excited to be working with such an important charity which helps fund life-saving treatments for patients with blood cancer.”
Jackie Kelly, Head of Corporate Partnerships at Cure Leukaemia, added:
“It means so much to us as a charity when brands like Fazenda want to link up with us.
“Fazenda are already proving another fantastic addition to Birmingham’s thriving restaurant scene, and we are looking forward to working together on some exciting, not to mention tasty, fundraising initiatives in the future.”
The Brazilian rodizio bar and grill has been inspired by the type of restaurants found in Rio and Sao Paulo, and offers diners continuous tableside service, carving guests a wide range of beef cuts, pork, lamb and chicken.
Launched initially in Leeds, Fazenda also now boasts restaurants in Liverpool and Manchester, and has become extremely well-known for its lively and stylish atmosphere. Visit www.Fazenda.co.uk to find out more.
