Season's Greetings from the Cure Leukaemia Team

As another extraordinary year draws to a close; Jackie, Joe, Jennie, Bobby, Andrew, Paul and myself would like to wish you all a fantastic Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year.

2019 has been another memorable year which saw you, our amazing supporters, push yourselves yet again to raise funds in so many different ways. Hopefully this video below featuring highlights from the year gives a flavour of what you have all achieved.

This was the year we were immensely proud to announce our funding of the national Trials Acceleration Programme (TAP) network from January 2020-22. Thanks to Deutsche Bank's transformational impact over the last two years, Cure Leukaemia will begin funding clinical positions at blood cancer centres across the United Kingdom next year.

We have already met many of these centres and we are very excited to collaborate with them to raise the vital funds required to maintain this network that allows patients across the country access to potentially life saving treatments for blood cancer through clinical trials.

This year we also appointed our new Chairman Geoff Cousins and we look forward to working with him going forward to establish Cure Leukaemia as a leading, national blood cancer charity. I would like to say a huge personal thank you to our former Chairman Ian Allen and his wife Sarah for their tireless generosity and support for Cure Leukaemia since 2012.

We remain committed to raising funds to connect blood cancer patients with potentially life saving treatments. With your continued support, we can ensure the Cure Leukaemia TAP network goes from strength to strength and, in the process, help hasten global progress towards the eradication of all forms of blood cancer.

Merry Christmas and very happy New Year to you all,

James McLaughlin - Chief Executive
