Pinsent Masons staff ready to run!

7th October 2015

Six members of staff from the Birmingham office of legal firm Pinsent Masons are gearing up to run the Morrisons Great Birmingham Run for Cure Leukaemia next weekend.

Martin Preece, Jade Morrison, Richard Moulton, David Meisel, Jodie Woollin and Dan Braithwaite are all in training for the 13.1 mile course around the second city which takes place on Sunday October 18th. This is third year in a row that Pinsent Masons has run for the charity and they have also entered the Business Challenge to add an element of inter-business competition for added spice on the day.

Greg Lowson, the Head of Pinsent Masons’ Birmingham Office and Cure Leukaemia Trustee said,

“I’m delighted we have another strong team of runners taking part in the Morrisons Great Birmingham Run for Cure Leukaemia. As a Trustee of Cure Leukaemia I know the tremendous work the charity supports and Birmingham should be very proud of what Professor Charlie Craddock and his clinical team are doing every day to help people battling blood cancer.

I know the team will work hard to raise as many funds as possible to help this fantastic cause. I’m pleased the team have entered the Business Challenge too, hopefully Pinsent Masons can win a trophy or two!”

Jackie Kelly, Cure Leukaemia’s Head of Corporate Partnerships said,

“We are thrilled to have another strong team from Pinsent Masons running the Morrisons Great Birmingham Run for Cure Leukaemia.

Pinsent Masons regularly support the charity through a whole range of events and I’m sure they will help raise more crucial funds to help people battling this terrible disease.”
