Pinsent Masons bike ride raises over £2,000

20th July 2015

International law firm Pinsent Masons held their annual charity bike ride through the Warwickshire countryside in July and over £2,000 was raised for Birmingham-based blood cancer charity Cure Leukaemia.

Over 70 cyclists took part, including Cure Leukaemia Trustee and Pinsent Masons’ Birmingham Head of Office Greg Lowson, as they set off on the 60 mile circuit from the Durham Ox in Shrewley.

This was the fourth charity bike ride the firm has organized and it continues to go from strength to strength every year. Joining Pinsent Masons’ staff on the day were employees from a large number of clients including JLL, Barclays, Compass, Siemens and EC Harris.

Greg Lowson said,

“We’re delighted with the turn out once again and this ride continues to go from strength to strength.

The money raised is worth ten times more in potentially life-saving drug treatments for leukaemia patients in the West Midlands and I’d like to thank everybody who donated to this great Birmingham charity.”
