The sun shone on Sunday morning, where 2 very special runners completed the Virgin Money London Marathon for Cure Leukaemia along with 40,000 running enthusiasts, in one of the world major marathons.
With thousands of participants from all over the world, there was bound to be both laughter and tears along the route, which started in Greenwich and saw runners finish several hours later on The Mall, as runners doing their bit for charities close to their hearts.
Amongst those runners were Piyush Mistry of Deloitte Birmingham and former Aston Villa midfielder Lee Hendrie who both completed the prestigous race in under 5 hours - with both raising a fantastic amount of money for Cure Leukaemia!
