'Marathon Man' Pete takes on latest challenge

22nd August 2014

'Marathon Man' Pete Gough kicked off his latest challenge this weekend as he aims to run 225 miles in just 8 days!

Last year Aston Villa fan Pete Gough, 40, completed an epic 310 mile run from Celtic Park in Glasgow to Villa Park and was warmly greeted by the man who inspired him to do it, the club's ex-captain Stiliyan Petrov.

This year he will be running from one charity HQ to another, which started at Cure Leukaemia's offices at 9am Saturday morning before heading south to Pancreatic Cancer then NCCA and back up to Acorns, the four charities that he is supporting and a journey of approx 225 miles.

Please show your support to Pete for his gruelling challenge and lets help him raise even more money than last year. You can donate by visiting his Virgin Money Giving page HERE and if you donate, you have the chance to win a signed Aston Villa and a signed Celtic shirt up.
