Tickets are available for an original pantomime called 'Alice's Misadventures In Oltonland' with proceeds going to Cure Leukaemia and Breast Cancer Haven
The original production, written and directed by Katie Newbon, will be performed by local residents on Friday March 16th and Saturday 17th at Our Lady of Compassion School in Olton from 7.30pm. Tickets are £6 and all proceeds will be split between the two charities. Katie, who is the wife of sports broadcaster Gary Newbon said:
We chose Cure Leukaemia because it is an inspirational charity based in Birmingham. All my pantomimes have been set in Olton and all our actors are neighbours and friends. It will be a pleasure for us to perform ‘Alice’s Misadventures in Oltonland’ inspired by a story that everyone knows with a few little twists along the way and help raise money for such a good cause.
