Brindleyplace

Following a nail-biting public vote, Brindleyplace has announced Cure Leukaemia as their new charity partner for the coveted, annual Dragonboat Festival in 2015 and 2016.

The charity could be set to receive over £100,000 in fundraising over the next two years as a result of the new partnership which will be used to help fund vital specialist research nurses at the Centre for Clinical Haematology in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham and across the Midlands.

James McLaughlin, Chief Executive of Cure Leukaemia said,

“We would like to thank everyone who came out and voted for us – the Dragonboat festival has raised an incredible amount of money in the last 2 years for HelpHarryHelpOthers and we will certainly do our very best to help Brindleyplace & Deutsche Bank try to exceed their target again next year with the help of all the staff and visitors at Brindleyplace and beyond!

The funds raised from this partnership will go directly into helping save lives right here in our great city of Birmingham.”
