Michelin starred chef and proud Brummie Glynn Purnell has been a staunch supporter of Cure Leukaemia for a number of years. Glynn, now a Trustee of Cure Leukaemia, was instrumental in helping recruit over 450 runners for the BUPA Great Birmingham Run 2013 – raising over £125,000.

As well as this, Glynn’s cooking skills have been influential in bringing ‘Glynn Purnell’s Friday Night Kitchen’ to Birmingham – an event that returns again on Friday 2nd October – where Glynn show cooks on stage, along with celebrity friends, in front an audience of over 350!

Glynn Purnell said,

“Over the past two years I have worked closely with Cure Leukaemia as a Patron. I'm honoured to have been invited to further support the charity by becoming a Trustee.

“Professor Charlie Craddock and his team at the Centre for Clinical Haematology, right here in Birmingham provide ground-breaking research and treatment that is made possible through Cure Leukaemia. I’m a very proud Brummie and we, as a city, should be equally proud that Birmingham has a genuine opportunity to find a cure for this terrible disease.”
